MANDEVILLE SLUDGE AND GROOVE

Transfusion was established in December of 2023 in Mandeville, Louisiana.

The band is composed of a group of teenager friends from different local schools, who shared the love for Heavy, Thrash and Sludge Metal.

The band achieved its namesake by transfusing metal elements they borrowed from bands like Acid Bath, Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth and Metal Church into songs to make them more heavy and faster, such as Rock Lobster, Enter Sandman, Stone Cold Crazy, Highway Star, and Paranoid being a few examples. 

Our current goal is to make original pieces, if the song is not good, we wont release it, this process takes time, so we ask you to please have patience with us as we hammer out songs.

Transfusion's main genres consist of Sludge, Groove, Thrash, and Heavy Metal, being inspired by the Louisiana and overall sounds that thrive in the Gulf Coast. 

So, if you hear Transfusion is scheduled to perform at a venue close to you, we urge you to come check them out. Tips are always welcome, specially if there is no cover charge.

Our cover charges are reasonable but we are also very glad and happy to support non-profit organizations or non-profit events, free of charge.
